We are so excited to be welcoming a new member, Kiki, to our team! Kierstie Kirby (or Kiki, for easier pronunciation in Haitian Creole and French) is joining the Espere team as a full time Mental Health Worker, bringing her skills in counseling, child development, project planning, and administrative support.
Kiki served for the last three years at an orphanage in Haiti as a family reunification advocate and activity coordinator. During that time, she also built on her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a Master's Degree in Human Service Counseling from Liberty University.
Our whole team at Espere is excited to have Kiki with us to lead trainings on Trust Based Relational Interventions (TBRI), to join in our client counseling work, and to support our Children with Special Needs program. You will be hearing from her on this blog, and seeing updates about her work on Facebook and in all of Espere communications.
