The Espere vehicle needs a new transmission which means the staff are currently without easy transportation. With no vehicle for the staff to use they must resort to using public transportation and in Haiti this means adding hours to their travel time, and many personal risks (traveling on the back of a motorcycle, or in the open bed of a pickup truck, being exposed during random protests, theft etc.). If we could get the car back up and running our Mental Health workers would be able to reach more people in need and expand our services to other areas of Haiti.

With your tax-exempt gift today, you will receive a .pdf card. You can print (or email) it and give it to a loved one, in whose honor you are purchasing this gift. You can also print out the card and keep it as a thank you from us!

About the photos: Here is a picture of our trusty car, heavy ladened with emergency relief supplies to take to hurricane-devastated Les Cayes, October 2016. You can read about it in our blog post. Photo 2 is a common public bus in Haiti. The words on the back say, "Learn how to make friends".

Car up and running!
